Evil

I ordered contacts from the good people at 1800contacts.com. Because I'm sick of walking around like a cyclops for days, I chose one day shipping so my contacts would come in as soon as possible. I sent it to the apartment, thinking that Manny would be able to sign for them, if necessary, forgetting that he started working on weekdays again. It didn't matter, because I checked Fed Ex online and saw that the package was left at the front door. I went home, excited that I would be able to see out of two eyes once again...

...only the package wasn't there.

I asked Manny if any packages came in, and he said no. Not trusting Manny, I proceeded to beat down the giant Mexican in hopes of forcing the information out of him...

...not really. He told me that Jeremiah, the guy that lives downstairs, that he wanted to talk to me. I had seen my landlord Nick's wife, aka "The Lady", that morning and she said that they were going to spray for bugs, and he wanted to talk to us about it. We talked and complained about the Nick, our landlord and how much of an idiot he is. And then I asked if he saw any packages from 1-800-Contacts. And he told me that he saw Nick putting the package on his staircase, but he told Nick that it wasn't his, so Nick just walked away with it.

My landlord stole my contacts.

I can't believe that my landlord just walked away with my contacts, and god knows what he did with it. Did he just throw them away? Did he sell them on the black market? Is it some sort of Greek fashion trend to wear contacts that aren't your prescription?

This isn't the only problem we have with the landlord. He also comes into the apartment without knocking, shows up without notice, and throws things away. Sometimes he does some good things, like fixing the bathroom, but then he says that it cost him $400 to do the repairs. Naturally, we just tell him, "Oh, you paid $400? Wow, sucks to be you. Thanks." There's a good chance that he's scared of Tarik and his brother because they are black.

Is he stupid, is he a liar...or is he evil?

I'm going to go with evil. I believe he not only steals packages, he also feeds off the blood of the innocent. He bathes in the tears of old women and thirsts of the cries of young children. This man is a monster, like Big Foot. He must be stopped.

Now my goal in life is to bring this evil old man down. My landlord is a criminal, stealing Fed Ex packages or interstate commerce is a federal crime, and he needs to be brought to justice.
