Someone turn up the heat, because I'm having goosebumps.
David Chase completes the bookend with the second episode he directs (he's written over 20 episodes and has the final edit on everything). The first on he directed, of course, was the first episode.
In other news, Curb Your Enthusiasm is back...next year.
Uncertainty about the future of another HBO gem, Curb Your Enthusiasm, was erased on the press tour. Larry David has agreed to another season, although production is still in its earliest stages, making the comedy unlikely to show up until next winter.
David has come up with another off-the-wall thread to weave through the season, according to an HBO executive. The next brace of episodes will be built around David and his wife, Cheryl, taking in a family displaced by a killer hurricane.
David's good deed will not go unpunished. The family will take over his home, disrupting David's set-in-his-ways routines and generally driving him nuts. The hook is that David will be reluctant to say anything because the family is black.
And Jack Bauer ate a terrorist on 24.
TV is great.
