Moms

This just happened a minute ago.

Vincent: Some of his (Bryan Adams) songs are okay.
Mom: You know him?
Vincent: Yeah, he's Canadian.
Mom: Is he black?
Vincent: No, he's Canadian!
Mom: There are black Canadians.

(Cliff Notes: My mom bought a Bryan Adams CD on Black Friday and was listening to it on the computer. She had never heard of him until today, but bought the CD because it was on sale. This amazed me, and I went on for about fifteen minutes about how my mom is probably the only person in the world who hasn't heard of Bryan Adams, but would buy a CD of his anyway. Vincent was on the computer looking at the songs.)

Also, I was editing this post, and then this happened.

"Straight From The Heart" by Bryan Adams is playing.

Mom: Oh, Bryan Adams sings this?
Me: No, it's someone else.
