Team USA lost in the World Basketball Championships. Again. They lost to Greece, which has no current NBA players on the roster. The sad thing is, no one who follows basketball is remotely surprised. All the articles on ESPN.com are saying "Well, I told you so..." The world has come a long way since the summer of '92.
I did laundry yesterday and this 250 pound guy who looked like Stone Cold Steve Austin with hair started yelling at the old lady who operates the laundromat because the machine ate his quarters. And there was this cute girl there who was folding a gigantic pair of pants. I'm talking Andre the Giant big. I would say something rude, but I'm trying to keep things classy. Especially with all the wrestling references.
All my VMA predictions were wrong, except for the one about the show completely sucking.
I'm going to the Poconos this Labor Day weekend with my friend Adan and his family, and I'm thinking about hitting up Atlantic City next weekend. I'm a travelling man, just like Team USA. Travelling, get it?
Nevermind.
Starting next week I probably won't be posting as much because summer's over and business is gonna start to pick up. And by business I mean fantasy football. And I guess I have work to do also.
Or maybe I will find the time. I don't know. We'll see how all that goes.
