Almost five years after getting kicked out of Canada (actually, a casino on the border of Canada and Niagra Falls, if you want to be a dick about it), my friend Brett and I are going to make our triumphant return to the great neighbor of the North this weekend. We're driving up to Montreal, which in Brett's words is "crazy" and also, "really hot". I didn't realize that it got hot in Canada. You learn something new every day.
To commemorate this historic event, here's an old Molson's commercial.
Also, here are the lyrics to the song, so you can sing along with the commercial like I've done the last 15 times I've watched it.
I know this place is where I am
No other place is better than
No matter where I go I am
Proud to be Canadian
I am.
You know I am.
I am Canadian.
I am.
You know I am.
I am Canadian.
I love this country where I am
This land is where I make my stand
Y’a Pas un Coeur Qui est (No other heart is)
Truer than The one we call Canadian.
I am.
You know I am.
I am Canadian.
I am.
You know I am.
I am Canadian.
I AM CANADIAN!!!!!
