24 - 4-5

In this week's hour of 24, Mr. Taylor is still shot and still an idiot, but the paramedics are quickly on their way to take him to Arlington Medical Hospital. The President realizes that she can't trust anyone on her detail, so she decides to trust Buchanan, a guy that she just met an hour ago. He brings in Aaron(!!!!!!) to secure the President's estranged daughter. She is unaware that her dad was shot, even though he is the First Gentleman of the United States and there was a squad of paramedics on the scene to take him to the hospital. The Washington D.C. Medical System is more reliable at containing a story than the Federal Government.

Chloe is brought into the FBI to assist Moss with the cobbled together Bauer Task Force. Janis suspects they're bringing in Chloe to replace her, so she decides to hack into their system to see what they're doing, which nearly messes up the tracking feed that Jack is using to catch Dubaku. Chloe manages to get back online, and checks to see where the system was hacked, and discovers that it came from inside the FBI. Janis, still pissed, threatens Billy Walsh that she'll tell everyone about his affair with the Uma Thurman look-alike. The sassyness quotient of the show is raised exponentially throughout this entire sequence.

Not-Jack (Agent Walker, still traumatized by her actions of the previous hour) and Jack find the address of Dubaku's girlfriend, who is getting ready to flee the country with her true love. Somehow, this poor girl is so blinded by love that she knows that the country was just attacked, her boyfriend immediately wants to leave the country after the attacks, and she doesn't stop to think what a strange coincidence that is. No need for thinking, because Jack and Walker find her and tell her the truth. She agrees to lead them to the love of her life, but one of Dubaku's moles reveals that she is going to sell him out to the feds. How did he get this information? Because BILLY WALSH is the traitor in the FBI. Yes, Billy Walsh is trading government secrets with the most wanted terrorist in America, and calls the DCPD to stop Jack and ruin the whole operation. And that's still not worse than directing Medellin and sending Vinny Chase's career into a freefall.
