So it turns out that Tony is not a villain, and is working deep cover in an anti-corruption organization with a surprisingly frisky looking Chloe and Buchanan. As a veteran 24 watcher, I can tell that means that it will likely eventually be revealed that he is working deep deep cover with the terrorist organization that he infiltrated, and will be revealed as a bad guy. However, it will turn out this terrorist organization is a force of justice, and they are working to stamp out corruption within anti-corruption organizations.

This will all happen by hour 9.

Tony has brought Jack into the fold and tells the leader of this terrorist organization that Jack is looking to flee the country to escape indictment. Jack, somehow realizing that the leader does not trust him, beats up two traffic cops to earn the organization's trust. This will lead to two pedestrians getting hit by a garbage truck.

The terror organization current plot is to kidnap the African President in order to deliver him to an African terrorist organization. The FBI manages to find out about the plot due to the attractive female FBI agent forgoing the law and torturing a gravely injured suspect in the hospital. The African President manages to seal himself in a bunker with a door that can only be opened from the inside and stone walls. So naturally, Jack tries to break into the room with a golf club.

In other stunning developments:

--The African terror organization has taken control of the CIP device, which is able to control planes or something. The CIP device is otherwise know as the best toy ever. They are threatening to crash the planes unless the President recalls the invasion of their country. The White House Chief of Staff tries to convince the President to call a halt to the invasion, presumably because he had just gotten those planes for Christmas from his mommy and daddy and they won't buy him new ones.
--Walsh from Entourage joins the FBI and uses trickery to get the air control guys at Reagan International Airport to allow his wife's plane to land first. This means that Billy Walsh not only made Medellin, the worst movie of all time, he also killed his wife.
--The First Gentleman's suspicions were correct that his son was murdered and his suicide was staged, likely because on 24, the First Family has little to no Secret Service protection.
--And the President changes the channel from the Presidential Seal to CNN.
