24 - 1-2

This hour starts with FBI boss Moss giving a recap of the recap that they play before each episode. He is still holding out hope that Walker is still alive. It turns out she was wrong, that. But somehow, Chloe and Buchanan are able to teleport from the secret CTU bunker and ressurect her from the dead. They explain the situation with Tony and Jack to her, and reveals that she needs to pretend to be dead in order to save the country from corruption. All she needs now is a scruffy growl and look down and blink a lot when she feels guilty, and she could be Jack Bauer.

In the van, Jack is looking down and blinking a lot, and tries to get Emerson to reveal why and when he turned Tony. Emerson not only reveals that they were targeting Tony to tell him all along, but that he also has the power to shoot people in the neck without killing them. He grabs Jack as soon as they get out of the car, but that's like commiting suicide. So he gets shot in the neck without getting killed, and tells Tony to go to hell.

Jack reveals to Motobo the plan, but Motobo insists that he won't allow his wife to go through with it. Knowing what we know, this is a good idea, because once tortured his wife would sell her children and nuclear secrets and the location of the holy grail if someone sprays water in her face. However, Mrs. Motobo says that she is ashamed of succumbing to Windex torture, and thinks that she'll be able to handle whatever this crazy African Warlord can dish out.

The mercenaries arrive on the scene to buy the Motobos for a bunch of diamonds. They try and screw over the dynamic duo, but we all know that's just like commiting suicide. Jack and Tony keep a few of them alive by shooting them in the neck, and tell them that they're willing to ignore their transgressions. The mercenaries/terrorists transfer the Motobos to their SUV. Everything will be fine though, because Chloe is able to track their location with some sort of dental floss.

Meanwhile, the deadline for troop withdrawl has passed, and Dobaku says that the only way The President will act is if they take American lives. He calls President Taylor and tells her to look out the window, and somehow uses the CIP device to crash two planes into one another. He warns her that another 10,000 Americans will die if his demands are not met within an hour. It is an unspeakable tragedy, but also an amazing display of American engineering that these two planes were able to hold at least 5,000 people each.

A policy advisor says that there could potentially be hundreds of thousands dead, meaning that Dobaku could potentially target more impressive planes if the US military doesn't stand down. The President continues to insist that they will not negotiate with terrorists to protect the country, even when one of her cabinet members resigns. President Taylor then went to the weekly White House poker game, stayed in despite holding a 2 and a 3 with all face cards on the table, and lost all her money.

Luckily, the First Man is on the case trying to determine if money was the reason their son was murdered. Unluckily, he is still partially paralyzed and has to sit and watch while the 14 year old Secret Service agent stabs his son's girlfriend, and frames him for the murder. Fortunately, two minutes, he is able to ball his hands into a fist and throws the rogue agent off the second floor balcony. Obviously, that's what happens when terrorists try to infiltrate the agency responsible for protecting the President and her family with a kid who just learned his fractions. Inevitably, I've run out of things to say about this hour. Thusly, I feel as if someone just shot me in the neck.
