Fire the bum

I tried thinking of proper analogies when I saw that the Knicks got killed by the Celtics by 45 points tonight. And what I came up with was that watching Isiah Thomas coach the Knicks is like watching someone nailing your girlfriend while driving a car into your house and then setting it on fire while your family is inside, and after all that, he kidnaps your dog and hangs it from a tree. I decided that the simile wasn't strong enough.

This post quote from the Fire Isiah petition says it best:

What has Isaiah done: Let's face it, after 3 years serving as president of basketball operations of the New York Knicks, it's time for a change. Thomas has destroyed the roster, created an oppressive salary cap situation and in short, has done nothing good for the team. I must say that the Knicks franchise has always been known for players with heart, tireless work ethics, blue collar on the court, gritty and grimey, players. We want that back. Years ago it was an honor to play for the Knicks. Now our beloved franchise is a laughing stock.

I would say that Isiah Thomas is a cancer, but I don't think that's a strong enough disease. There isn't a disease strong enough to describe what Isiah has done to the Knicks. God forbid, if there's ever a disease more lethal than HIV/AIDS, they should name it the Isiah Thomas Disease. It would be kind of like Lou Gehrig disease except Lou Gehrig wasn't a fucking douchebag. Isiah is the 2nd worst thing that's happened to the city of New York this decade. That's undisputed. Jim Dolan needs to fire the fucking bum. Now. He needs to fire that motherfucker right now and hire someone smart and get the fuck out of the way.

This sucks. It really does. I need to dunk my head in a tub of water now.
