Public Speaking

According to many studies, Public Speaking is the #1 fear in America. Jerry Seinfeld even has a famous joke about how people fear Public Speaking more than death. It is natural to be fearful, and I must admit, that I am deathly afraid of Public Speaking. Just thinking about Public Speaking chills me to the bone, and to be honest, that I too would rather die than face the specter of Public Speaking.

Oh, I'm not talking about talking in front of an audience. I'm talking about the vampire named Public Speaking.

Public Speaking the Vampire strikes fear in the hearts of many. And by many, I mean, me. Some may laugh, but I don't care what anyone says, vampires are scary. When they suck your blood, you don't just die, you BECOME a vampire. And being a vampire is not good. You have to stay inside during the day and you can't go to garlic festivals. Sure, you live forever, but you have to run away every time a priest sprinkles water on you. That's frightening to think about. Vampires are terrifying, and Public Speaking the Vampire is the most vicious one of all.

I am going to sleep with my light on tonight.
