Turtle power

When I was a kid, I had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figures and the TMNT Sewer Set, and one of my favorite things I liked to daydream was that I would shrink and be able to live with the Turtles in their sewer. And last year, I lived in a concrete bathroom for a month, which was kind of like living in a sewer. So, in a way, my dreams have come true.

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie comes out tomorrow, and all the commercials and excitement reminds me of being a kid again. Only this time, I don't have to go with my parents to see the movie, and I don't have to worry that my mom might take away my Ninja Turtles toys and games because I got a detention and didn't tell her so my teacher was forced to call her at work and let her know so she could pick me up. Now that I'm old, I see any movie I want, when I want! And if my mom tries to take my toys away from me, I can tell her to go to hell! Take that mom!

To commmorate the historic occasion of the release of the new TMNT movie and being able to tell my mom to go to hell, here's a clip of the Turtles fighting the evil Shredder in the first Turtles movie.

No shit, when I first saw this part when I was a younger, it was the most excitinggreatestandbest moment of my life. And it still ranks in the Top 25 or so.
