- Monday Night RAW. Just to see if K-Fed shows up (he's made apperances over the last month or so) and if they mention Britney. Remember when wrestling was fun to watch? Yeah, me neither.
- The tree arriving at Rockefeller center. I think it just got in over the weekend and I'll probably walk down there this week to see how it's doing. It's almost Christmas, the season of perpetual hope.
- Knicks vs. Wizards on Wednesday. I don't know if I'll go to the game or not, but I think that it warrants mentioning that I think Gilbert Arenas could be my long lost brother. This recent news item about him, Antonio Daniels and DeShawn Stevenson banning James Lang from one side of the locker room is eerily similar to the recent news item about how I banned my roommate Manny from leaving his room (except if he goes out through the window. He's allowed to jump out the window.) Anyway, he's my favorite basketball player right now.
- The Office. OhmygodwhatisgoingtohappenwhenJimcomesbacktoScrantonPamwillbehappybutKareniscomingwithJimandshewantstodohimPamwillbeupsetwithKarenIhopethetwoofthemgetintoacatfight
thatwouldbeawesome. - PlayStation 3 release. I'm not going to get one this year, because even though I'm very wasteful I didn't feel like spending $600 on a system that will probably just sit there because there aren't really any games for it that I'm interested in. Also, because there's only going to be 400,000 units available in the entire United States of America. I am however, looking forward to going to Best Buy during the day just to see all the maniacs scramble for one. I imagine it will be like the scene in season 3 of The Wire when Bubbles is walking through Hamsterdam trying to sell T-Shirts. Only instead of drug buying and senseless beatdowns and blowjobs, there will be PlayStation 3 buying and senseless beatdowns and blowjobs.
- Casino Royale. Some people are upset that the newest incarnation of James Bond played by the guy from Layer Cake, who has blonde hair. Personally, I couldn't care less. I actually like the idea of one guy having many versions of himself throughout the ages who don't look at all alike. In fact, word on the street is that the next version of myself will be a 7 foot tall Chinese arm wrestler.
- Manny Pacquaio vs. Erik Morales III. The first two fights were bloodbaths and the third fight should be no different. A Fight of the Year contender. I'm considering betting this week's paycheck that Pacman knocks Morales the fuck out. Maybe. I'm cautious, but I feel like it's a sure thing. If I lose that bet, I will fight every Mexican in the New York Metropolitan area, ten Germans and two Nigerians and a squirrel.
- Nintendo Wii release. I'm getting mine on Monday, and I'm really excited to test out the Wii-mote motion sensor technology, which allows the gamer to control the game via arm movements and pointing instead of just pressing buttons. If you want to swing a sword in Zelda, you swing the WiiMote. If you want to throw the ball in Madden, you mimic throwing the ball with the Wii-mote. Same goes for throwing a punch, firing a gun, even cooking. It's going to change the videogaming as we know it and I'm looking forward to it. On a related note, I'm also looking forward to undergoing Tommy John surgery in May.
