Goddammit

The Yankees lost to the Tigers 4-3 today and the series is now tied 1-1. I blame it on the fact that I did not wear a Yankees Shirt to work because I incorrectly assumed that the game was at 8:00 after being rained out last night. You can also chalk up the tough loss to shoddy defense from Matsui, the Tigers bullpen, and because A-Rod forgets how to hit the ball in October. But it's mostly because I forgot to wear a Yankees shirt.

Solution: I put on a Yankee shirt as soon as I got home. To ensure I do not make the same mistake I made today, I will not take it off until the playoffs are over. Not even when I take a shower. I will just go places all wet. Hopefully, it will rain a lot, so when people ask me "hey, why are you all wet?" I could just blame it on the rain. Like Milli Vanilli.

Also, it would be nice if Randy Johnson and Jaret Wright and/or Corey Lidle didn't fuck up in Detroit. Or if A-Rod remembered how to be a good player. For his sake, he better start hitting this weekend. Or else we will throw the motherfucker to Anaheim. 8 million Yankee fans across the Tri-State will pick Alex Rodriguez up and throw him across the fucking country. He needs to produce this weekend, the collective safety of the world depends on it.
