Song 2

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution gives Americans the right to bear arms. Many conservatives and crazy people think that the right to bear arms is an inalienable right that cannot and should not be taken away from them. I happen to disagree. In fact, I cannot understand their thinking on this controversial topic.

I think the right to bear arms is outdated and downright foolhardy. Someone could seriously get hurt, lose an eye or worse, they could even die. Do you want to die? I didn't think so. The right to bear arms may have been a good idea in 1776, but so were powdered wigs, and I don't see anyone wearing powdered wigs nowadays. Except Prince maybe? Prince could probably pull it off. Or Madonna. Actually, I think we should visit the question of whether or not powdered wigs should make a comeback. At a later time though, because this topic is about the right to bear arms.

So in closing, the right to bear arms should be made a thing of the past. This is 2006, not 1806. I don't believe in the right to bear arms, and I don't think you should either.

I do however, believe in the right to bear noses.
