24 - 2-3

This hour opens with Janice revealing that they found a residue that somehow tells them that the CIP device is targeting an insecticide plant in Ohio. If the Dubaku and the CIP device isn't found within a half an hour, there will be an unimaginable number of Americans and ants dead.
The President is notified of this during a speechwriting session where she lectures one of her writers that the word outrage is an appropriate word for this situation. She even refuses to take advice about speeches, but she is horrified that half the population in this Ohio town could be killed.

Meanwhile, Motobo is delivered to Dubaku, who recounts a story of how the two once met at a State Dinner, where the two of them danced the night away. I'm kidding. Actually, Motobo disrespected him by slapping his hand away when Dubaku asked him for a dance. I'm kidding again. It turns out they were having drinks and Motobo refused to shake Dubaku's hand. Dubaku then threw his tiara on the ground, hiked up his dress and ran off to the woods, where he sobbed for hours. I'm kidding. I think.

SWAT Team CTU plus Agent Walker infiltrate Dubaku's headquarters, which happens to be inside a law firm. Buchanan and Tony head for the entrance to Dubaku's lair, and Jack and Walker go through the crawl space, which somehow is as big as a whole other floor. They're able to walk through it and everything. It should be called a walk space. Chloe gives Jack long and complicated directions to Dubaku's lair. Of all the amazing things Jack is capable of, the most impressive is that he's able to follow directions without writing anything down.

Dubaku finds out Team CTU is there via a security video that's 20 minutes late. Dubaku realizes that they are there to stop his plot to kill Americans, so he decides to shut down the operation, foiling his own plan to kill Americans. Team CTU attacks after the firewall is shutdown and the CIP device is destroyed. There's a lot of gunfire, but thankfully, no one important is harmed. That would have made the last 18 hours of so really boring.

During all of this, Janice is able to get in touch with the head of the insecticide plant, and the two realize that they are no longer have control of the system. The Insect Head bravely puts on a gas mask and enters some sort of sauna to shut down the plant. He releases the gas, but unfortunately the gas mask doesn't work, so he dies. He might as well have been wearing a clown mask.

Tony, Buchanan, and Jack hunt Dubaku, but Dubaku gets to the technician from the episode, manages to put together a bomb on him in two seconds and blows him up, and makes his escape. The Motobos are safe because Dubaku didn't have any Windex available, and they make their escape with Team CTU before the cops arrive.

Jack tries to convince Buchanan that they can't do this on their own, that they need to get in touch with other government agencies and the president. Buchanan relents, and motobo calls the president to set up a meeting . Tony refuses to go, because he's done too many bad things. Jack tells Tony that he doesn't have to come with them, but after all of this is over, Tony has to turn himself in. Tony nods, which unbeknownst to Jack means "Fuck no. I'm going boarding a plane to Tahiti as soon as you suckers leave." in mercenary speak

Everyone is relieved to find out that CIP device has been destroyed, but the President isn't even willing to accept good news, demanding answers to how this happened. The Chief of Staff informs the president about the first gentleman's actions, and says that he can't be reached. Back at the loft, the Mr. Taylor awakens and realizes what he did. He tries to escape but the second secret service agent runs in to kill him, but first, he checks if the Secret Service intern is alive. He's dead, but just before he shoots the First Gentleman, the phone rings. The person calling is Dubaku, who tells the agent to not kill Mr. Taylor and to bring him to a Korean restaurant. That's very nice of him, Korean Food is really good.

The show ends with Dubaku's girlfriend showing up randomly and telling him not to forget about their dinner. Seriously. This action packed episode ends with the lead villain making out with his girlfriend and telling her that he's been busy, but that he'll make it to dinner.
